▪ 1 lb. ground chicken
▪ 1 egg
▪ 1 Tbsp. capers
▪ 1 medium tomato
▪ 1/2 purple onion finely chopped
▪ 1 cup cilantro (chopped)
▪ 1 Tbsp. hot sauce
▪ salt and pepper to taste
▪ 4 slices of bread (Arabian-style whole wheat bread)
▪ lemon juice
In a bowl, add egg and beat with salt, pepper and hot sauce. Add chicken, onion and tomato, finely chopped. Next, add cilantro and capers. Make medium-size balls and place them in the Hamburger Press. Grill on each side as desired. Once they are ready, sprinkle with lemon juice. Cut the bread in halves and place Mexican-Style Chicken Hamburgers
on them. Garnish with lettuce and tomato and other condiments as desired.
Tip: Arabian-style bread may be substituted for whole wheat bread for hamburgers. Garnish with finely-chopped cilantro or parsley.
